A story from Ms. Ratchawan Singhaneti, CPCR Social Worker

“…This morning, on my way to work, I spoke with a kind supporter who has quietly helped cover child victim of violence's daily expenses for many years. I shared updates on her progress and I was reminded of how far she had come.

Once the child who struggled to read and write, did not understand their own emotions and needs, and faced significant family challenges, this child was given a chance through the support of many caring individuals. CPCR had provide a safe place to live, learn, and grow. Since the age of seven, she had worked tirelessly to overcome obstacles. This day, she was studying at university, working to support herself, and determined to earn her degree.

It could be claimed that no flower bloomed alone. It had grown because others provided a shelter through the storms, sunlight through the darkness, and encouragement along the way. Thanks to those supports, this young person had blossomed and now brought hope and inspiration to others.

One day, she would stand firmly on her own, supported by the roots she had grown through resilience, courage, and opportunity.

To the kind supporter who had been there every step of the way—thank you. Though they had never met, her generosity had helped transform the life of a child who once seemed alone, proving that she never truly was.

This was what true love looked like. This was compassion in action.

Thank you from the bottom of my hearts…”
